Twenty of our students traveled to Pitt State University to compete in the Math Relays. Over 900 students competed in this event, and our GEHS students represented well!!

Students must compete at their grade level or above, and there is not a division for 9th grade, so most of our students were competing ONE or even TWO grade levels above their own, which makes their accomplishments even more impressive. The Individual Events are a test of speed and accuracy - students only have 15 minutes to complete as many questions as possible, and some tests have as many as 65 questions on them!! For the Team Events, each team member has 5 minutes to answer as many questions as they can on their assigned test page.

Here are the accomplishments of our GEHS kids; please congratulate them when you see them!!
